Learn more about adoption

The Children’s Aid Society of Toronto invites you to attend an information evening to learn more about adoption and the children and youth for whom we are committed to finding permanent homes.

Friday March 29th, 2019 | 6.30 pm to 9 pm
North York Central Library, 2nd Floor Auditorium, 5120 Yonge St.

On Friday, March 29th, 2019 Adoption Services at our Resources for Children & Youth Branch will be hosting a targeted recruitment event for families of African Canadian descent who are interested in adoption. This is another step for Adoption Services, as part of the Society’s larger equity strategy, to be responsive to the needs of the children and youth in our care who are of African Canadian descent.

With this event the Society hopes to:

  • Increase our compliment of adoptive families for Black children and youth in our care for whom we are committed to finding permanent homes.
  • Demonstrate our commitment to providing adoption services in a way that is responsive to the needs of African Canadian families.
  • Strengthen our relationship with the African Canadian community

Have you considered adoption? Are you of African Canadian descent? Do you live in Toronto?
